Sometimes is it asking too much to bring an old building back up to modern standards. This old stone and slate farmhouse needed to make way for a new stone farmhouse.

Before demolition works started we needed to work with CTM Wildlife to ensure that any bats on site were protected.  New bat boxes were installed in woods behind the property and all the operatives were given a bat awareness toolbox talk before starting work on the site.  Demolition works were carried out under licenced supervision.

To ensure bats were safe and to protect the salvage of the materials on site the building was demolished by hand.  This was a two-week project and the site was left clean and level ready for construction to start.

The works were completed on time and on budget.
